I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. From the first time as a child that I picked up a crayon, to the present as I work as a Graphic Artist, art has always been my true calling. I live to create art! I mainly work as a digital artist, creating illustrations and designing on my Mac. I always, though, seem to gravitate back to my air brush and paints. I suppose it’s the fine artist in me, fighting to get out!

Over the past few years, I have been perfecting my skills in painting and sculpting figure kits. A few years ago, while attending a local hobby show, I discovered model figure kits. After building and painting my first kit, I was hooked! Since then, I have painted many different genres for both myself and private commission.

At the shows I entered all the model kit competitions and did very well. Some of the awards that I have won are gold and silver awards at the Wonderfest show in Louisville, Kentucky. I won the Janus Company Best Classic Monster Award of the show in 2003, and again in 2005. I also won two gold awards at the Imagine-Nation Expo in 2003, and first place in the Female Figure Kit Category in Amazing Figure Modeler’s Model Bash in 2003. Finally, at the last Kit Builders Show in 2003, I won both a gold and silver award.
