This is a 1/4 scale bust of Elsa Lanchester from the movie “The Bride of Frankenstein”. It was sculpted by Mark VanTine. I choose to paint this one up in a gray scale motiff, to look just like the old black and white movie. The base was custom made.
In 2003 at the Wonderfest show in Louisville, Kentucky, I won a Gold Medal and the Janus Company Best Classic Monster Award of the show with this paint-up. It was the first time I painted anything in gray scale.
