This is a 1/4 scale bust of Kate Beckinsale from the movie Van Helsing. It was sculpted by myself, and was my first sculpt using Castilene wax. I picked this character, because I thought she was very beautiful and I loved the detail in the costume.
The base was the bottom of a fancy candle stick I found in the clearance isle of a home furnishings store. The sword was sculpted out of Aves epoxy putty, and the strings hanging down at the bottom of her bodice were carved out of doll rods, then glued together for stability.
